Nice Quilt to Recreate a Pattern For

Would love to recreate this pattern.  Shouldn't be TOO difficult...  Hopefully.  Love the colors she used found this quilt on 24 Blocks on Facebook.  Wanted to save so I could come back and possibly use it as a reference to recreate it.

Serve with whipped cream on top!

2 Betty Crocker Sugar cookie mixes
16 ounces softened cream cheese
2 cups sugar
1 to 2 cups whipped cream or cool whip
2 or 3 lbs. strawberries washed and sliced
Strawberry glaze - you can buy it in jars, box mixes or make it using cornstarch
Whipped Cream for topping

Preheat oven to 375.
Prepare the cookie mixes with the butter and egg as the directions on the bags say to. Spread in a Texas sheet cake pan (like 10x15 I think) to make the crust. Bake at 375 for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Mix softened cream cheese and sugar with hand mixer until well blended. Then fold in the whipped cream or cool whip. When cookie crust is done and slightly cooled spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
Then mix strawberries with glaze of your choice (or even just mix strawberries with sugar and let sit overnight in fridge and they would work) and pour the mixture over the top and chill for about four hours or more.
Serve with whipped cream on top!

Crash Hot Potatoes

Crash Hot Potatoes

Just boil some baby potatoes (I used red) until fork tender. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Drizzle olive oil on a baking sheet, set potatoes on sheet and using a potato masher, gently smash each potato down, rotating masher both ways (so it looks like a thick cookie). Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt/pepper and sprinkle cut fresh herbs and garlic over each. THEN top with some lovely grated Parmesan cheese. Bake for 20 minutes. OMG...crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, salty, garlicky, herby and cheesy goodness. I need to make more now!!

Taco Salad Ring

Taco Salad Ring

2 crescent roll tubes
1 LB ground beef (or ground turkey)
1 packet of taco seasoning
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
Shredded lettuce
1 or 2 diced tomatoes depending on size
1/2 small can Olives (sliced) (Avocado, Sour cream etc)

1. Separate the crescent pastry and lay out in a circle, pointed ends out on a foil lined pizza pan, sprayed very lightly with cooking spray. Use some of the leftover crescent rolls to to make the center a bit thicker as this will hold the meat.
2. Brown meat in a frying pan until no longer pink. Drain fat and add taco seasoning as directed on package, reducing the water to a scant 1/3 cup from the 1/2 cup called for. Drain excess liquid from meat.
3. Sprinkle meat mixture in a circle inside the crescent rolls, then sprinkle 1 cup of the cheese over the meat. Pull crescent roll points over meat and cheese and tuck in.

Bake at 350 degrees until pastry is golden brown (30 min).
4. Add remaining 1/2 cup of cheese, chopped lettuce, tomato, black olives, and jalapenos (if using), into the middle of the ring, then add a few dollops of sour cream if desired, before serving.

Pretty Cuff on Cut-Off Jeans

Pretty Cuff on Cut-Off Jeans

Quite simple to do ~ take the width of the leg of your Jeans, add 6" to each end (for tie) ~ decide how wide you want your cuff (usually about 3-4") then double the width of that measurement ~ so width would be 6-8" ~ double fabric matching right sides of fabric~ sew the ends together ~ TURN the cuff so it is right side out ~ press ~ mark the center of your cuff and start it a the inside seam of the jeans (leg inside) pin or baste it matching the edges of the fabric to the edges of the jeans, (have fabric or cuff part up inside the leg) Sew around until you have about 1" on each side of the tie or the outside seam, turn the cuff up and press!!  Too Cute!

***I found this on Facebook (I believe) Angel is the Creator of "Pretty Cuff on Cut-Off Jeans"...  Here is a link to her page with FULL Instructions on her How ToSincerely Angel for the page with the directions so you can Pin from therel
